A Seminar on “Success in Career – Learning throughout Life” was held at MBA Department, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology on 16th February, 2018 at 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. This session was taken by Mr. Dinesh Chopra (Managing Partner- D R Enterprises).
Mr. Dinesh Chopra started by taking his own career and resume as an example and talked about how he went about climbing the ladder of success in corporate world (India and abroad).
The Seminar was quite interesting and gave opportunity to students to learn many ways to make their careers according to their own interests and needs. Mr. Dinesh Chopra shared in depth, his life achievements and experiences. He told students about his success mantra of various achievements, i.e., ‘The Process of Learning Throughout Life’.
Mr. Dinesh Chopra summarized the learning’s from his life, for achieving our goals of life under following heads:
- Money is not ultimate goal – It is not an end, it is only a means
- Be flexible with your job and organizational environment
- Keep work-life balance
- Revolution of technology is yet to come.
- Keep upgrading your knowledge and keep trying for a better job
- Keep changing strategies and actions as per need of the mission
- Honesty and Integrity as a core values.
He gave emphasis on adapting soft skills. The very thought that we must ‘LOVE WHAT WE DO AND TO DO ONLY WHAT WE LOVE’ should be success mantra.
At the end of the Seminar, Dr. Sunita Tank proposed a vote of thanks to Mr. Dinesh Chopra for sharing his valuable experiences at the Seminar.
