National Conference on ‘Management Innovations Infocomm Technology and Values (Changing Paradigms in Business)’ was organized by Department of Management, on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Seminar Hall of the Department on the 9^th Floor of the 9th Academic Block, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. Delhi

This conference intended to trace the evolution of the new management paradigms and identifying its main drivers. The broad theme of the conference was to understand the key dimensions of management dynamics, innovations and changes today in the areas of Technology, Innovations, Infocomm and Values. The conference aimed at examining how these frameworks of basic change drivers are impacting the various functional areas of management, including Finance, Marketing, HR and IT. The role of values and ethics also cannot be undermined in this ever-changing business scenario.

Prof Ravinder Jit, Head of the Department initiated the Conference by giving her Welcome Speech. Prof Ravi Kumar Gupta addressed on the Conference Theme. He quoted examples of various companies those achieved excellence in their respective functional and organizational areas by making transformational changes & adopting contemporary strategies. 

Dr Nand Kishore Garg, Founder Chairman & Chief Advisor, Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society graced the occasion by his presence in the Inaugural Session of the Conference. He congratulated the Head & Faculty of the Management Department for the successful organization of this National Conference. He showered his kind blessings upon the students and the delegates. Prof Neelam Sharma, Director, Prof S S Deswal, Dean (Academics), Prof Vinita Gupta, MAIMS were also present.

A Book entitled ‘Management-Practices & Innovations’ with ISBN 10299ISBN2018A edited by Prof Ravi Kumar Gupta, Dr Amit Gupta, Associate Professor & Dr Ritu Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, a compilation of 49 selected papers contributed by 81 authors from various Institutions & Universities and published by Maharaja Agrasen University Publication, Delhi; was released in the Inaugural Session of the Conference. Sh Man Mohan Goel, Industrialist & Noted Philanthropist, Rohtak gave his blessings and congratulations through his written message in the Book.

Prof. Sanjeev Mittal, University School of Management Studies, GGSIP University, Delhi was kind enough to act as Guest of Honour in the Conference. He delivered his dynamic presentation on the Theme of the Conference for an hour. He gave his power point presentation on the theoretical framework of Management Innovations Infocomm Technology Values and its integration with Changing Paradigms in Business of present era. It was of immense use and highly knowledgeable to all delegates and students of the Department.

Another Guest of Honour, Dr Parmod Kumar, Vice-President, Tech Mahindra Limited, Delhi also graced the Inaugural Session of the Conference. He covered another aspect of knowledge i.e. Industrial responses and strategies towards the Changing Paradigms in Business and the expectations/aspirations from the Management graduates. He emphasized the students to gain the knowledge in depth first and be ready to work hard and harder for succeeding in the Industry. He also assured the Department students for their Summer Internship and Placement in his Company.

Prof Amar Nath Gupta, University of Delhi, Prof Vijay Khurana, MAIMS, Dr Sonu Madan, IG University, Rewari, Dr Ishwar Mittal, MD University, Dr Anita Gupta, BM University, Dr Shalu Juneja, Hindu College, Rohtak were kind enough to Chair/Co-Chair Two Technical Sessions & the Valedictory Session in the Conference, on our request. Around fifty faculty & students from several Universities and Management Institutions participated and presented Paper in the Conference. The institutions included Central University of HP, Kangra, Amity University, Noida, PDM University, Jhajjar, Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi, HP, BPSM University, Sonipet, PIET, Panipat, Delhi School of Professional Studies & Research, Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and other Department of MAIT as well.

The event was organized by the Organizing Team i.e. Prof. Ravi Kumar Gupta as Convener, Mr. Vivek Kuchhal & Mr. Rajiv Jain as Co-Conveners, Dr Amit Gupta as Secretary, Mr. Nitin Walia, Mr. Anoop Gupta, & Dr. Ritu Gupta as Joint Secretaries, Dr. Anju Bharti, Dr. Neeru Gupta, & Ms. Kalpana Sharma as Members-Programme Committee, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Ms. Meenakshi Gupta & Mr. Nishant Gaur as Members-Technical Committee of the Conference.

 The Conference achieved its objectives fully for which it was organized.  This event became useful to the management students and faculty, researchers, practicing managers and industry professionals in understanding the basic challenges facing the industry today and also the effective strategies to cope up with them. The programme ended with Vote of Thanks to all who contributed for the success of the Conference and National Anthem at the end.
